Depending your hair type you will need a relaxer so your hair will lay down straight after being shampooed, conditioned, and molded or your pixie style won’t look great. With short hair pixie cuts you can get a relaxer and color at the same time and your hair will look shiny and soft and will be free from damage, with minimal maintenance requirements. Your hair will look GREAT!
Maintenance tips for your pixie style:
- Silk scarf or mesh wrap around the sides of your head- don’t wrap hair too tight
- Silk pillow case, airplane pillow, or fold your regular pillow to keep your head elevated
- Your preference of light oil &/or light spritz
- Oil weighs thin/fine hair down, light spritz recommended; for thicker hair, light oil recommended for shine, if needed.
- Remember only a little spritz needed or your hair will get stiff
- The first time you see a curl out of place, finger the curl how you’d like it or use a light flat iron to re-curl that piece
